Our boys and girls proudly commemorated the 80th anniversary of The Cork Harbour Tragedy this morning at St. Colman’s Cathedral 🙏
This day marks the passing of five Cork Harbour men who tragically lost their lives on the 12th of December 1942 due to treacherous sea conditions ✝️
The choir which is made up of 5th & 6th Class students in our school music club were delighted to support the event through shared song and prayer this morning 🎶
The highlight of the day was singing ‘Beacon of Hope’, written by our Deputy Principal Alan Carney who wrote the song to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the event 🙌
Well done to all of the children who performed so well this morning – we are all so proud of you at BSRAC! 💙🧡💚
Many thanks to Laura O’Donnell, Alan Carney and Gary Stephenson who prepared and accompanied the choir on the day! 👏
