Rang a Sé celebrated the end of a very successful September by paying a visit to MSC Virtuosa! MSC Virtuosa is one of the world’s largest cruise ships spanning 331 metres and weighing over 180,000 tonnes. Over 8,000 people were aboard the ship that cost approximately €770,000,000 to build! This experience will serve as a brilliant learning stimulus as we explore the functions of ports and rivers around the world later on in the year!

After viewing the ship and exploring it’s significance in relation to the ports economic and touristic functions, the sixth classes stopped off for a quick ice-cream and mandatory selfie!
