6th class were busy making parachutes in a STEM experiment during Engineer’s Week to help improve their understanding of gravity! They were given a selection of materials including paper towels, sandwich bags, string, Plasticine, masking tape, sellotape and j cloths and they had to design a parachute to travel from the first floor to the ground floor. The children video recorded their experiment and timed how long their parachutes took to reach the ground. We hope you enjoy the photos and video that they made.
