It’s been a very successful day in Rang V. Our Vex Robotics Teams are through to the National Finals in Cork on the 1 March after their regional win today in CIT. The students designed, built and programmed a robot as well presented a PowerPoint on how robots and technology could be utilised to support children with Autism. The judges were blown away and BSRAC took home 1st place for the presentation and joint 3rd for the Robot.  Big credit to the students and also Ms Thompson and Mrs O’Gorman for their hard work. Photos to follow…

On another note, fifth class student, Eve Hopkins, won a school’s visit for her class from Heritage Ireland. She entered a competition with the following photo taken on a walk in Marlogue, which, I’m sure you’ll agree could be on the front of National Geographic. Well done Eve!
