Prior to competing in the VexIQ Robotics competition, some of the children in Miss Murphy’s 5th class visited Walterstown National School to compare notes. After building the arena, cubes and robot in class it was very beneficial to visit another school that was competing and work on making some necessary adjustments to the robot. It was a very worthwhile collaboration that helped the children in both schools come up with strategies for competing on the day in CIT.
