On the 3rd of September, Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh was delighted to welcome the Garda Armed Forces for a very exciting visit. The children had the chance to see a range of Garda vehicles up close, including some impressive equipment used in their daily operations. One of the highlights was seeing the Garda sniffer dogs, who were on-site to showcase their important role.
The excitement soared as the Garda helicopter made a special appearance, flying overhead to the amazement of both students and staff. In addition to all the action, the children learned valuable safety information, gaining a deeper understanding of the essential work our Gardaí do to protect the community.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Gardaí for providing such an engaging and educational experience. It was a day our students and staff will remember for a long time!
