Well done to all the students who ran the Schools’ Cross Country Championship in Castlelyons last Friday. The weather certainly didn’t dampen their spirits!
There were a few trophies and medals on the bus home which is fantastic – well done to every single student who raced and trained to hard.
On the topic of training, a big thanks to Fr Kelleher for giving of his invaluable time in helping to coach the students in athletics. Fr Kelleher was greatly missed by the students during his recent illness and it is great to see him around the school again. Fr Kelleher coaches athletics during lunchtimes.
A big thanks too to our teachers Ms Looney, Ms Murphy and Ms Sheehy who are always on hand to train, coach, mentor and supervise both after school and by giving up their own lunch breaks. It is much appreciated!
