2nd class were very lucky to have Ruth Ring from Cobh Tidy Towns and Orsolya Becsey from Cobh Zero Waste (a tandem group set up in Cobh to promote using less single use items and more reuse to be more sustainable) come in and tell them about all the work that they do to help keep Cobh clean and tidy. They showed them all the wonderful awards that the town has won in recent years.
They told them about the importance of recycling, putting litter in the bin and caring for our environment. They also talked about the great work that our Green schools committee does to help our environment.
