After working on all the skills in our Aistear room, we were able to put those skills into practice!
We contacted one of the locals supermarkets, Eurospar to organise a shopping trip.
The manager, Marie Kavanagh was waiting for us that day and gave as a ‘tour’ around the shop. We even got to see ‘behind the scenes’ so we were really excited.
Different staff members explained their job to the pupils and answered their questions. The pupils brought their own shopping list and money from home and did their own shopping.
At the end of the tour, Marie organised a few surprises too!
