This year students in 6th class took part in a debating club after school on Thursdays. A team was entered in the Concern Primary debating competition and this was the first year that the school took part. The children reached the quarter finals and were very unlucky not to progress to the semi-finals. It was wonderful to see the children develop the skills required for debating and also see them gain in confidence with public speaking. They are a credit to their school and we wish them every success in their debating future.
