Joe, 6th class, is our elected Chairperson and tells a little about the council.
“Hello, my name is Joe. I am the chairperson of the student council. It is my second year on the council.
If you are wondering what we do, we try our best to make the school a better place for everyone, students and members of staff.
Some of the things we have done are the cake sale, Christmas jumper day and last year for the first time ever we did Crazy Hair day!”
Ethan another of our student representatives, also shares about his experience of the Student Council: “The Student Council is a group of children and two teachers who sit down and discuss all the ideas that come from the students. We also use the students’ voices in coming up with good ideas such as the pyjama day, Bubby Benches and Cake Sale, etc.”
