World Book Week- Book Speed Dating
All third and fourth classes took part in Book Speed Dating today as part of our World Book Week celebrations and ‘Share A Million Stories’ campaign .
Book Speed Dating was a brilliant way for students to get an introduction to lots of great books in a short amount of time. Students in Ms Creegan’s, Ms Moynihan’s and Ms McHall’s classes prepared a short summary of their favourite books to share with Mr Murphy’s, Mrs Healy/ Mrs Kelleher’s and Mrs Coomey’s class-who jotted down their favourite titles and returned to their classes inspired and armed with a list of books they would like to read and find out more about!
The event proved to be a huge success and was enjoyed by all!
