Colin is the tennis coach from Rushbrooke Tennis Club who came to our school to teach tennis to fifth class.
We learned lots of new skills, including forehand and backhand strokes as well as volleying. We also played lots of fun games, such as ‘the secret spy game’. We played with lots of different coloured tennis balls- red, orange, green and yellow. He also brought in fold-able tennis nets and rackets for us to use.
On the last day we were split into two groups for a tournament. If you beat your target and then answered a question correctly, you won a treat!
We all really enjoyed the lessons and we hope that Colin will come back again.
