Mrs O’Sullivan’s Class in Coisceim made matchbox cars with wheels and axles out of match boxes, straws, cocktail sticks, cardboard, tape and blue tack.
We then had to figure out how to make the car move without touching it using two magnets.
So we put one magnet in the car and used the other magnet to repel it and move it along.
We had great fun racing the cars to see who could move their car the fastest!

We used our ruler and drew a horizontal line as our starting point, we then measured 1 metre and drew a second horizontal line as our finish point.
