On Wednesday, March 20th, Mr. Murphy and his class travelled to the city to compete in the Feis Maitiú Performing Arts Competition. They were hugely successful and received the Highly Commended award for their performance of two poems in choral verse.
This was Bunscoil’s first time entering a group in the competition in over 20 years. Mr. Murphy’s class have worked really hard on their drama all year with the help of the school drama teacher, Ms. Julie Dennehy O’Callaghan. A great day out was enjoyed by all and our principal, Ms. Flannery, accompanied the class also.
Well done to all the children and here’s hoping that we have many more years of Feis Maitiú to come!
