Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh serves the Rushbrooke area of Cobh. This is a suburb of Cobh and the school is located approximately 2km from the centre of the town. Rushbrooke has seen huge growth in building and population in the last 10 years. In 1997 the school was surrounded by green fields. Over 2000 houses have been built in the immediate vicinity of the school since then!
Although Cobh has a total of 6 Primary Schools, Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh is the only one located at the eastern side of the town.
