Mr. Stephenson’s Rang a Sé have really enjoyed learning about the importance of being advocates for the preservation of our local environment and explored just how long it takes for our rubbish to break down naturally. They found some of the results very surprising and put together a list of ways that we can reduce, re-use and recycle our waste! The class decided to take action and went on a litter picking trip around Cobh, stopping off at Whitepoint Strand and The Waters Edge to pick up some rubbish and keep Cobh clean. They also had time to take a quick selfie break to mark our crazy hat day!
